Mihir Desai

Mihir Desai has more than 20 years of professional experience in financial Services and technology across North America, Europe and Asia in global corporations as well as cutting-edge start-ups. Mihir started his career in software development in Internet Security. After his graduate school education, Mihir built a career in Investment Banking and Private Equity working with Marco Polo Partners in emerging markets Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Boomerang Media, GTCR Golder Rauner Private Equity fund focused on technology and media assets. Thereafter, Mihir co-founded Credit Builders, a microfinance start-up focused on credit cards and retail banking. Mihir has also worked with Cognizant Technology Solutions and BlackRock in Management Consulting.

With education in Instrumentation Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from University of Rochester in New York, Mihir has also attended Harvard University for advanced courses in Asset Management. Mihir lives with his wife and daughter with appreciation for the global culture in New York. In his free time, Mihir likes to follow current affairs and play racquet sports.

Kedar Telang

Prior to founding Captoma Consulting, Kedar Telang worked for fifteen years as a finance and operations professional serving businesses in industries ranging from retail and publishing to technology and environmental services. As an operations consultant, Kedar created immense value for his clients across verticals and geographies by advising them in optimization of their supply chains using technology as an enabler. As a finance professional, Kedar advised clients in strategic analysis and business valuation related to acquisitions, joint ventures and financing transactions. Kedar also worked as an in-house business partner at several companies providing decision support in the areas of business development, cost reduction initiatives, financial planning and reporting, and performance management.

Kedar has served as a certified small business counselor and a branch leader with SCORE, the nation's largest network of volunteer business mentors. He also served as an economics and business expert with Study.com. Kedar holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a Masters in Engineering from Louisiana State University. Kedar also holds the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Kedar lives in Essex county, New Jersey with his wife and two children and loves to teach at elementary schools in his free time.
